Fat Kid!

We finished eating Easter dinner and were chatting outside when all of a sudden. my mom came in and found LT on the dining room table! He had eaten about a 1/2 cup of fruit dip! This stuff has tons of butter, cream cheese, ricotta cheese, etc in it. We are just waiting for him to start puking! He also knocked over a lit candle and got wax on his ear. I'm not quite sure how to get wax off of a dog's ear, so we'll see how long it takes to naturally come off. I couldn't get a very good picture of him, but the stuff was all over his face!

St. Patty's Day

We went out for St. Patty's Day and realized that we are getting old. We got to the bar around 5:00 and left by 7:00. We had 2-3 beers each and were ready to leave very quickly. We just don't (and can't) party like the kids anymore! I know that we're young still, but once you get married, I think you age 10 years immediately! I would much rather sit at home with my husband than be out partying! Who would have thought I would be saying that 3 years ago?!?! Here's a picture of Casey with all of his girls (he's such a good sport to hang out with my girlfriends!)!

Note to Self: Don't wear shiny cowboy boots to dog shows.

This man was the ring steward at the dog show this weekend. He was freaking sweet! He had on shiny cowboy boots, a bolo tie, sweet glasses and a cowboy hat! I looked at him more than I looked at the dogs!

LT is sick. :(

He has kennel cough. He got it at the dog park on Saturday. He is miserable and so are we. We aren't getting any sleep because he coughs and hacks to badly. I feel so bad for him! He is on antibiotics and children' benadryl, but he still is miserable. Poor guy! He is supposed to show this weekend also. Send some prayers his way to feel better soon!

The Ultimate in Lame-ness!

So I was super stoked to send Pickle her St. Patty's Day card (which is super cute and super funny), so I did. I wrote the address and return address, sealed up the little envelope and stuck it in the mail. I couldn't wait for her to get it! I got home yesterday and there was the little green envelope. I looked at the address thinking that I may had wrote it wrong, but no, it was correct. What the heck? Why did it come back to me? OH MY GOSH! I AM THE LAMEST PERSON EVER! I totally forgot to put a stamp on it. Wow...lame.

Our day at the races...

We went to Santa Anita today with Hannah and Aaron for the KROQ Microbrew Festival and races. We weren't quite sure what the weather was going to do, but it worked out. It was just a 'morning dew!" ;)


The first race we bet on was awesome! Casey put down $4 for an exacta on 2 horses and I put $2 down on a horse to place. We both won! Casey got $120 and I got $10! We did great! Here is Casey after he cashed in our winning tickets!

We went to the races today and I discovered a very bad fashion no-no. This woman was wearing a lot of green and St. Patty's Day flair. It was so not cute.
