LT did great today!

LT had another dog show today and won best of winners again! Yay...another 2 points! He absolutely loves being out there...he is just like his mom, he enjoys being up in front of people!

Note to Self: Don't wear sequined hats to dog shows.

I love the fashion at dog shows. The ring steward at the show today was wearing a leopard and zebra sequined hat! Who does that?!?!?!

We're back in escrow

I am not getting overly excited about the house again, but there has been some good news.

The sellers decided to lower the price another $5,000 and pay 3 points to lower our interest rate, which will keep our payment where we wanted it to be. We have an inspection scheduled for Wednesday, so hopefully that goes well and everything else during escrow goes well also!

You know the saying, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade"? Yeah, well I got a big delivery of lemons and lemonade does not sound good right now.
The house issue is sad, I accidentally entered LT into next weekend's dog show twice (which cost be an extra $60), and I spring break is over.
Sorry to be Debbie Downer, but that is how I feel right now. Hopefully some Korean BBQ tonight will help me feel better.

House Update...Bad News

I am feeling pretty down right now because the house may end up not working out. Our loan agent apparently was running the numbers wrong the entire time. She was running numbers for a 30 year interest only loan instead of a 30 year fixed. To get a 30 year fixed, it will cost another $400-$500 a month, which we can not afford.
I am really sad, but I am going to try to trust that God has it all taken care of. I will update as soon as I find out what is going to happen.

We're going to be homeowners!

We found out today that the sellers accepted our offer! Once escrow closes, we will officially be homeowners in Fullerton! This is going to be our new little home! It needs a little 'curb appeal,' but it is perfect for us!!!
Yay!

Bargain Shopper!

Let me start by saying that I absolutely hate going to Nordstrom Rack, TJ Max, and Ross because I like possible clothing to be organized. I don't like to search through racks to only find junky stuff.
I have had $200 worth of Nordstrom gift cards since Christmas. I have gone to Nordstrom at least 6 times without finding anything. I decided to take a risk and go to Nordstrom Rack. I was pleasantly surprised! I walked in and within about 20 minutes I had 12 items to take to the dressing room. Super cute stuff from Ella Moss, SFAM, Theory, etc. I was shocked at the amount of good stuff I found. I bought 3 items and used up all but $1 of my gift cards! I'm a great shopper! Here is the loot...

I found a Theory top that retails for $190 for $49!


I also found a pair of Sevens that retail for $160 for $99!


And a pair of BCBGirls shoes that retail for $85 for $30! (I have been searching for navy flats and I finally found some!)

Pretty much the cutest thing ever.

I'm talking about LT. We spent time with Pickle in Newport on Saturday and had a blast. This was taken while relaxing at Coffee Bean. LT was super tired and sitting under Pickle (yes, that is her derriere at the top of the picture!)!
