It's Ours!!!!

The house is ours!!!! We signed on the dotted line (a whole bunch of dotted lines!) and we get the keys next week!!!

We're back in escrow

I am not getting overly excited about the house again, but there has been some good news.

The sellers decided to lower the price another $5,000 and pay 3 points to lower our interest rate, which will keep our payment where we wanted it to be. We have an inspection scheduled for Wednesday, so hopefully that goes well and everything else during escrow goes well also!

House Update...Bad News

I am feeling pretty down right now because the house may end up not working out. Our loan agent apparently was running the numbers wrong the entire time. She was running numbers for a 30 year interest only loan instead of a 30 year fixed. To get a 30 year fixed, it will cost another $400-$500 a month, which we can not afford.
I am really sad, but I am going to try to trust that God has it all taken care of. I will update as soon as I find out what is going to happen.

We're going to be homeowners!

We found out today that the sellers accepted our offer! Once escrow closes, we will officially be homeowners in Fullerton! This is going to be our new little home! It needs a little 'curb appeal,' but it is perfect for us!!!
Yay!

We left our first little condo today. It's a little sad to leave the place where you start your family. I know that we're going to be so excited to get our new house, but this little house was perfect!
